International Mountain Rescue Demonstrative Meeting

The National Romanian Mountain Rescue Association invites you to participate, from the 17th to the 20th of September 2010, to a Mountain Rescue demonstrative meeting of teams/countries affiliated to CISA-IKAR.
The meeting will be held in Romania, at the National Mountain Rescue Centre – Padina, in the Bucegi mountains. Proposed topics for demonstrations are: – Overhanging cliff rescue, – Vertical wall rescue, – Canyon rescue. Each delegation (team/country) will present one of the three themes above. According to the theme which will be presented, each delegation will determine the number of participants. Lodging costs (food and accommodation) will be paid by the National Romanian Mountain Rescue Association. Arrival of the delegations at the National Mountain Rescue Centre Padina will be on September 17th , 2010, at 16:00. To reach the National Mountain Rescue Centre – Padina, organizers suggest two locations as assembling point of the delegations: – For the delegations arriving in Romania by plane: International Airport Henri Coanda, Bucharest (1200 local time), – For delegations arriving in Romania by car or train: Sinaia train station(1400 local time).
